Bloomingdale High School’s Open House went off without a hitch. Both the Freshmen and returning students all had a blast. The Rajun’ Bull Band’s drum line wowed the crowds with their spectacular performance at the pep rally, and the Student Government Association introduced our spirit men to the school. Sebastian Wilches (12) and Nathan Gross (12). “I feel honored to be one of the spirit men,” Wilches said. “I’m glad to withhold the responsibility of hyping everyone up and awakening the school spirit. Being a spirit man allows me to connect with my peers and affect them positively in a way in which they can have fun and enjoy their [surroundings].” After the students finished with the pep rally, they moved on to the cafeteria where they learned about the clubs that the school has to offer, and where they could buy a yearbook for $85! Students walked around the cafeteria, flooded the hallways, and went off to meet their new teachers.
