The Bloomingdale Softball team lost against Newsome on Thursday April 18th with a score of 11-1. Despite this, senior Maddie Pena said, “I still had a great time although we lost so badly. Everyone had great energy and it was great to play my senior night with friends from Newsome that I grew up with.” Another senior Cailey Melancon commented, “It was surreal that it could have been our last home game, but it was fun knowing I left it all on the field no matter the outcome.” Fortunately for the girls, although it was a harsh lost they were able to keep playing and the team is currently headed into regional quarter finals.
