The baseball and softball teams faced off against the Brandon Eagles on Tuesday, April 23rd.

The baseball team beat Brandon 16-1, making their record 16-7. Brandon’s first run was in the second inning, but Bloomingdale did not let it happen again. Antonio DeJesus (11) plays the right field position and scored several runs. “It felt really good winning against Brandon. It really helped keep our confidence up and helped us stay in the zone for future games,” DeJesus said.

The softball game was also a huge success. The Lady Bulls beat Brandon with a 16-0 shutout. This made their record 16-7. “It was our pink game, so we were playing for a deeper meaning. Its always emotional, but this year I felt like we were celebrating and trying to show awareness instead of dwelling on cancer. It was a great feeling to win the game in honor of all those who are fighting  or fought cancer,” Kailey Harrigan (11), catcher, said. Congratulations to Alyssa Adams (12) for being selected the Bloomingdale Softball Player of the Game.
