Thursday April 11th, the Bloomingdale Lacrosse team played their second playoff game against infamous rival Newsome High School. The game was at the Newsome field and was well attended. It started off exciting, with the boys tied at 2-2 after the first quarter. But the scores quickly started to grow apart, and by the end of the game the score was 7-12, with Bloomingdale losing. To see which team would get the ball in the last face-off, the teams played rock paper scissors against each other. All in all the game kept the audience on the edge of their seats with both teams performing excellently.  Peyton Schmit (10), defensive middle on the team says, “it was a very intense game that was full of action, there was never a dull moment. I have never seen a bench so full of energy. We really went all out that game and gave it our all.”
