Yes, Bloomingdale High School really does have a Humane Society Club. It is a very secluded club, but this year they are doing things a little differently than before. This year Travis Thezan, Club President, has decided to make the club open to anyone who wants to join at any point in the school year. He is also planning on doing more pet-friendly activities and fundraisers, including toy drives and dog park days for club members. Most importantly they are bringing back their biggest fundraiser: the Dodge Ball Tournament.

At the Dodge Ball Tournament, Bloomingdale student teams will compete against each other. More importantly all the proceeds go directly to the Humane Society Organization. This month they are hosting a toy drive starting on November 15th, with boxes set out around the school for collections. All in all, the Humane Society Club is a great extracurricular group of people who all want to keep our four-legged friends safe!
